Huawei will launch their Ascend G730 in Pakistan

Huawei is launching their another mid-range smartphone of Ascend G series in Pakistan on next week. The Ascend G730 might seem to be the successor of the recently launched G700 but it is actually a “Bigger” version of G610, Huawei’s top grossing smartphone in Pakistan.

Ascend G730 has an almost identical design to the G610, with a few minor changes on back (The camera shape is less round and LED is now on the right). It has a big 5.5″ IPS capacitive touch screen with the same qHD (540×960) resolution. At the moment we are not sure if the screen features any kind of protective layer, such as Gorilla Glass.

This new device packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage with microSD expansion slot.

Similar to this phone’s other specs, the camera department also remains unchanged. It has a primary camera of 5-megapixel with single LED flash, and a secondary 0.3-megapixel camera on the front for video-calling and selfies.

Big screen requires more battery, so this device is packed with a 2300mAh battery; which should provide most users a single day usage.

The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, with Huawei EMUI 1.6 on top of it. The Chinese version of this device is said to have EMUI 2.0, so you can expect an update soon.

Ascend G730 will be available all across Pakistan in two colors, black & white, at a price of Rs. 22,999. This phone comes with one year warranty of Airlink Communication.
