LG has announced an event on December 3, leading to suggestions that it is preparing to launch its curved G Flex smartphone internationally.
At present, the vertically curved handset has only been available in the company’s native South Korea since it launched in the region earlier this month.
Orange France is set to release the device in December, while the US will reportedly have to wait until early 2014 for a release.
The G Flex is LG’s first curved phone, featuring a 6-inch curved OLED screen with a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor on board, as well as 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.
It’s said to be the first phone to feature ‘Self Healing‘ elastic coating on the back panel, a material that is able to recover from the scratches and blemishes caused by everyday wear and tear.
