Size matters when it comes to TVs and LG is upsizing its ultra high-definition (UHD) lineup with a whopping 105-incher. The largest UHD panel from the company so far, the 105UB9 also sports a curved-ultrawide screen, boasting a higher than usual 5,120 x 2,160 resolution.
According to the press release, new technologies have been developed to maintain uniform color reproduction and brightness across the entire display. While detailed information about the 105UB9 is limited for now, it is expected to be equipped with 3D, smart TV and most of the features on most high-end panels today.
And in case you are wondering, the 105UB9 is an LED TV instead of an OLED which is capable of delivering better picture quality. Still, this new UHD display should appeal to thoseĀ setting up a home theater system.
You will probably have to wait till LG’s CES press conference next January to find out more about the 105UB9, including its pricing and availability.
