Karachi, Pakistan Institute of Management Karachi has opened admissions in preparatory classes for ISCEA’s Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) and exams would hold on June 16, 2013 in Karachi.
International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA), USA introduced the CSCM certification program to develop and recognize professionals in supply chain management. Supply chain professionals can obtain qualification as a Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) after attending a course and passing an examination conducted by ISCEA affiliates globally.
The course is being offered to professionals working in Supply Chain, Materials and Operations Management. It is also open for other individuals who hold a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Operations Management.
The duration of the course is 6 weeks and classes will hold on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Admission forms can be submitted till April 10, 2013 and classes will commence on April 11.
The programs consist of ten modules: Building a strategic framework to analyze supply chains, designing the supply chain network, planning demand and supply in a supply chain, planning and managing inventories in a supply chain, designing and building transportation networks, managing cross functional drivers in a supply chain, leadership skills for supply chain managers, theory of constrains, operational accounting for supply chain managers, Lean and six sigma.
