Ramadan is the holy month of the year in the Muslim calendar, the one when the Muslims stop eating, drinking and getting sex from the sunrise until the sunset. It’s also the month when the Muslims pray more hoping getting more benediction and being closer to Allah.
Ramadan is the ninth month in the lunar year. The first day of Ramadan is just after the 29th or the 30th day of Shaaban.
The date of the beginning of Ramadan change every year and it’s eleven days before than the year before. This date changes also from one country to another one (one day difference) because the moon can’t be seen in some countries if it’s cloudy.
The first day of Ramadan 2013/1434 will be on the 9th july 2013 (more or less one day).
